Our Story...
Georgia Region FCA has been making disciples who make disciples for decades.In the past year we have seen God move miraculously as indicated by these numbers: 322 Total Staff, 2402 Certified Huddles, 48 Camps, and 460 Mobilized Volunteers. Each of these numbers represent people and places where life transformation is happening.
While it has been a season of unprecedented growth, the opportunities to reach Every Coach and Athlete in our region keep expanding. Below you will see three initiatives that we have identified as our Every Generation goals for the next three years, 2025-2028.
PEOPLE
Regional Leadership To Advance The Field
Our goal is to supplement six critical Regional Director positions (Donor & Board, Talent, Ministry, International, Sport, Operations) and four Multi-Area Director positions by providing $25K in matching funds per position each year.
Goal: $25K per position every year = $750,000
PROGRAMS
Expanded Sport Environments
Within FCA's Sport Pillar there are eight environments: Action, All Ability, Campus, Club, League, Motorsports, Outdoors, and Pro and Elite. Our goal is dedicated ministry oversight of each environment.
Goal: $50K per environment every year = $1.2 Million
PLACES
Collegiate Staff Expansion
Our regional team has identified a vast need for FCA leadership on college campuses, citing the unique transition stage from youth to adulthood as a prime opportunity for spiritual formation. Georgia has 49 college campuses and 44 of those need a FCA presence. Our first step is to hire seven full-time collegiate staff over the next three years.
Goal: $50K each year for seven staff = $1.05 Million
